Jewelry
making
began as a creative endeavor by Glow Ybarra
while she owned and operated a salon/spa in Santa Barbara, CA.
Glow created jewelry pieces and sold them directly to her salon customers.
When jewelry sales exceeded hair product sales,
she decided to take classes and take the jewelry business more seriously.
Glow studied jewelry making for two years at the Peruvian Bead Co. in Ventura, CA.
After a 30-year career, she retired from the salon business and moved to Cottonwood, AZ,
where she pursued her passion for making jewelry full time.
Glow attributes her artistic ability to being a visual person and “good with her hands.”
Using jewelry making tools came easy because of her career as a hairdresser.
She transferred her knowledge of design line and balance, color analysis,
and defining one’s bone structure into the designs of her jewelry.
Glow chooses to make one-of-a-kind pieces
because she believes in the endless flow of creative energy.
She loves to create unique jewelry that she feels good about---
believing someone will resonate with each unique piece.
There isn’t enough time to create all the wonderful ideas in her head!

Christine
Bendele
has 23 years experience in the corporate world,
managing systems and people. She started working with her sister, Glow, on the business end of the jewelry business,
bookkeeping, marketing, setting up the All-a-Glow website, and selling jewelry at Fine Art Shows.
Christine is also interested in photography.
She began photographing all of Glow’s jewelry creations for a portfolio
and created a photo gallery, which, evolved into the All-a-Glow website.
Christine has always been drawn to gemstones and jewelry.
She contributed her creative ideas and became a co-creator with Glow.
Eventually, Glow taught Christine some jewelry making techniques,
and she now creates her own pieces.
She feels the creative process is meditative.
Her priority is using quality materials and craftsmanship,
making sure her pieces are balanced in their design,
comfortable to wear, durable, and she loves to add lots of bling!
